Hazel Hodges Obituary

HOOKERTON - Mrs. Hazel Moore Hodges, 87, passed away Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011. Mrs. Hodges was born Sept. 7, 1923, the daughter of Harvey Moore and Daisy M. Brinson. She was a retired telephone operator having worked with Maryland and Virginia Bell Systems. Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 60 years and had attended the Kingdom Hall in Snow Hill for the past 16 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Amos Hodges; and brothers, Howard Moore and Clyde Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Corsivo and husband, Marc of Snow Hill; grandchildren, Deborah D. Boyd and husband, Eddie, and their daughter Jennifer of Greenville, Paul Corsivo and wife, April and their son, Christian of Va., Stephen Corsivo and his daughter, Ashley of Ga., and James David Corsivo of Fla.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, at the Snow Hill Kingdom Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kingdom Hall Snow Hill North Congregation, c/o Kevin Faulkner, 2169 Highway 58 South, Snow Hill, NC 28580.
