Toni was born June 26, 1952 in Mankato, Minn. and married Erik Wittmann in 1999. She graduated with honors from Forsyth Technical Community College's School of Nursing and most recently was employed with Leo Jenkins Cancer Center.
She loved her nursing career and her patients at the cancer center. Toni was known for the care she gave to her patients as she knew what they were going through. She was also known for being kindhearted, strong, brave, and for her infectious laugh. She truly loved her husband Erik and pet, Nattie Ann, and they will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1994, Warren Meshke.
She is survived by her husband, Erik Wittmann; mother, Helen Meshke; sister, Gayle McMonagle and husband, Richard; brother, Blake Meshke and wife, Sheryl; niece, Kristen Lundburg; nephews, Josh McMonagle and Derek and Brent Meshke; and her most loyal canine companion, Nattie Ann.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Paul Walker for his care and compassion, the staff at Leo Jenkins Cancer Center, the staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, and close friends and neighbors who were always there for her.
