Mr. Jacie Lee "Jack" Lynch, 80, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at his home. A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Wayne Flora.
Mr. Lynch, a native of Pitt County, lived most of his life in the Belvoir community, after living in Tarboro for a number of years. He owned and operated Lynch's Mobile Home Service for 40 years. He attended the University Church of God. He was a family man who loved his work and spending time with family.
Mr. Lynch was preceded in death by a son, Jackie Lee Lynch; his father, Wesley Louis Lynch; mother and stepfather, Alma and Henry Edwards; brother, John W. Lynch; and sisters, Margaret L. Bowens and Annie Myrtle Jones.
He is survived by:
His wife of 61 years, Shelby Stallings Lynch; daughters, Peggy L. Hyde and husband, Eugene, of Tarboro and Edna L. Raynor, of Greenville; sons, Ricky W. Lynch and wife, Glynis, and Jacie Mark Lynch and wife, Camilla, all of Greenville; daughter in-law, Shirley Lynch; grandchildren, Leslie, Shannon, Krystal, Vickie, Ashlie, Brenda, Jason, Justin, Brock and C.J.; 17 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Fannie Louise Norris, of Washington, N.C.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at his home.
