Mary E. ((Parducci)) DiLullo(1914-2013)

TORRINGTON >> Mary E. (Parducci) DiLullo, 99, of Torrington,entered eternal life on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. DiLullo, Sr. Mrs. DiLullo was born June 15, 1914, in Torrington, daughter of the late Cherubino and Julia (Giambastiani) Parducci.
She was employed by Fitzgerald Manufacturing, W. T. Grants, McCann Shoes and, along with her husband, co-owned and operated The Little Bookshop. She enjoyed cross stitch embroidery, and knitting. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Peter Church.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph DiLullo, Jr. and his wife Annette of Baltimore, Maryland, Angelo DiLullo and Carol Anderson of Lafayette, Colorado; one daughter, Joan Colangelo and her husband Albert of Torrington; two sisters, Sr. Eufemia Parducci of Morristown, New Jersey, Elaine Landucci of Torrington; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter Parducci, Angelo Parducci, one sister, Victoria Tromba, and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, with the cortege leaving at 10:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Peter Church, 107 East Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Saturday morning, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
