Regina Stella Hannafin(1917 - 2013)

NORFOLK >> Regina Stella (Kotleski) Hannafin, 95, lovingly known as "Gog," died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Laurence (Brud) J. Hannafin, and her grandson, Michael L. Currier of Winsted. Born in Detroit, Michigan, April 29, 1917, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kotleski from Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
A parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception where she was active in the Catholic Women's Club and a member of the Norfolk Curling Club. Employed at General Electric for over 30 years. "Gog" loved to travel with her daughter, Jean. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Stryker and her husband, Jim, of East Haven, and Laureen Muller of Winsted; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Feb. 9, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 4 North St., Norfolk. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the Norfolk Lions Club Ambulance, P.O. Box 399, Norfolk 06058; or Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department, 20 Shepard Road, Norfolk. Kenny Funeral Homes, Norfolk has care of arrangements.
