TORRINGTON >> Erminia Arma (Gubetta) Bill, 85, of Torrington, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary`s Hospital in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Charles Bill. Mrs. Bill was born Dec. 18, 1927, in Weed, California, daughter of the late Domenic and Annunciata Gubetta.
She was a member of Senior Care in Middlebury, the Sullivan Senior Center in Torrington, Senior Center of Wolcott, and was also a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Torrington. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Alma DeBellis of Wolcott, two sisters, Pia Cottini of Alaska, Zita Borgis of Craveggio, Italy, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, with the cortege leaving at 8:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis New Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home.
