Francis Leo Fasciano, 65, of Collinsville, beloved husband of Linda (Matarese) Fasciano, passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at his home. He was born Jan. 11, 1947 in Torrington, son of the late Leiborio and Lucille (Savanella) Fasciano and had lived in Torrington prior to moving to Collinsville 17 years ago. Fran was veteran of the U.S.
. Mr. Fasciano was retired from the State of Connecticut. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville. Fran enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends.
Besides his loving wife of 46 years, he is survived by three children, Mark Fasciano and his wife Colleen of East Hampton, Jennifer Aldrich of Winsted and Stephen Fasciano of Farmington; two grandchildren, Jacob and Jeremy and a sister, Palma Lawrence and her husband Jim of Florida.
Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Friday, Jan. 18, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Collinsville. Private burial will be in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Abbey of Regina Laudis, 73 Crane Hollow Road, Bethlehem, CT 06751.
