One of Frank`s most memorable groups he was involved with was the Victorian Boys Club of Hamden. This was a group of guys who grew up together in the 50`s, played ball together and had a clubhouse in Hamden. Some of his favorite stories were of the great times they had together. Through his service and teaching he was awarded the following: The Probus Educator of the Year (1992), Torrington Area Youth Service Award (1994), and Honorary Parade Marshal of Torrington`s 2013 Memorial Day Parade.
Frank enjoyed his vegetable gardens and barbequeing or helping cook holiday meals for his children and grandchildren. He was patient, caring, generous and cheerful to all who knew him.
