1918 - 2013 Obituary Condolences
TORRINGTON >> Janina 'Jennie' S. (Kulinski) Nadaskay, 94, of Torrington, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late William A. Nadaskay, Sr. Jennie was born on Jan. 27, 1918, in Torrington, daughter of the late Marceli and Anna (Kulesza) Kulinski.
She was employed by Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with the Housekeeping Department until her retirement. She was a member of the Polish Women`s Alliance. She is survived by three sons, Stanley Kulinski of New Hartford, William A. Nadaskay of Torrington, Steven M. Nadaskay of Goshen; two daughters, Patricia A. Newth of Torrington, Elsie E. Hellberg of South Lake Tahoe, California; two brothers, Marcel Kulinski of Meriden, John Kulinski of Winsted; two sisters, Jedwiga Jacobs of Richmond, Massachusetts, Annie Miklos of Plymouth; five grandchildren, Tracy, Alan, Victoria, Alessondra, Timothy; six great grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan, Alexis, Julius, Kaylee and Nathan, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas, Julius, Leo, and Victor Kulinski and one sister, Mary Ann Sieval.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, with the cortege leaving at 9:30 a.m. from Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery in the spring.
