HARWINTON >> Rose L. Brandmeyer, 71, of Harwinton, passed away Wednesday, March 13, at Torrington Health and Rehab Center, Torrington. She was the wife of the late Henry Brandmeyer. Rose was born in Winsted, on Oct. 2, 1941, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Bagnaschi) Sweeney.
She had been employed by Pheoll of New England and later worked as a home health aid. She was also an EMT for Harwinton Ambulance for many years.
Rose is survived by a daughter, Susan Smith and husband Roger of Manchester and their children Heidi and Victoria Smith and Robert Rubin, she also leaves a son, Henry Brandmeyer and wife Kimberly of Torrington and their children Sarah, Joshua, and Korynah Brandmeyer and Lillian Anderson. Also surviving are brothers Edward, Richard, and Charles Sweeney and sisters Mary Pipa and Gloria Newth. She was predeceased by sister Edna Murphy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 19, 10 a.m. at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave., Torrington. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
