1928 - 2010 Obituary Condolences
CANTON - Edward Anthony Demora, Sr., 82, entered into Glory on Nov. 9, 2010, following a valiant struggle with cancer. Born in New Britain, on May 26, 1928, he was a son of the late John and Carmella (Napolitano) Demora.
Edward was predeceased by his wife Gloria (Farnham) Demora, sons James and Edward Demora and one sister, Delia Rubio. Edward is survived by a son Richard Demora; a daughter, Rhonda Vecchio and her husband James and his devoted granddaughter, Elizabeth Vecchio; a special brother and friend, Charles Demora of Canton; three sisters and two brothers residing in Florida and several nieces and nephews. Edward owned and operated several businesses in both Massachusetts and Connecticut before settling in Winsted and Canton. He was an inspiration to us all in that he was the living embodiment of Ephesians 5:25; "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave himself for it. He was grateful for every moment the Lord gave him with his wife and at last he is reunited with her and his sons in Heaven.
