Anna Chausz, 97, of Torrington, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Cherry Brook in Canton. She was the wife of the late Stephen Chausz.
She was born in Torrington, on Nov. 28, 1915, a daughter of the late Antoinette and Augustino DiLullo She retired from The Torrington Co Excelsior Plant and was a member of Saint Mary's Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a dedicated NY Yankees fan and UCONN Women's basketball fan and loved to watch the games.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Everett and husband David, of Torrington; a son, Edward Chausz and wife Ellen of Stamford, grandson James Everett and wife Valerie and granddaughter Susan Drozdenko and husband Paul. The youngest child, she was predeceased by siblings Charles DiLullo, Elizabeth Perlotto, and Nicholas DiLullo.
Funeral Services will be held at Saint Mary Church, Torrington, at 10:30 on Tuesday, Jan. 15, Burial will be at New Saint Francis Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the Mass on Tuesday, from 9 to 10 a.m. at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave., Torrington.
