TORRINGTON >> Eleanor F. Baker, 91, Torrington, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, at Torrington Health and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Robert O Baker. Eleanor was born in Chadron, Nebraska on Nov. 11, 1921, a daughter of the late Georgia (Battle) and Edward Miller and was a member of Saint Paul's Church, Sullivan Senior Center, and the Senior's Bowling League.

She worked as a secretary at Torrington Co Broad St. Plant for over 30 years.
She leaves nieces Barbara Zordan and husband Anthony, Diana Joray and husband Walter, and Karen Michalowski and husband Gerald, and nephews Ernest Stengel and Robert Killeen, and sister-in-law Arline Clark as well as several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Gail Iffland and sisters Reva Stengel and Ruth Killeen and a nephew Roger Stengel
Graveside Services will be held at Hillside Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7.
