Lorretta Jean Duncan died from complications due to cancer at RiverBend Hospital in Springfield, Oregon at 7:50pm on May 27th, 2013. She was born in Hillsboro, Oregon on September 28th, 1936. She was preceded in death by Burley Wilburn Duncan, her husband of 60 years.
She is survived by her brothers and their wives: Mike and Judy Cooley, Don and Sharon Hundley, and Jack and Alex Cooley. She is survived by her sons and their wives: Leonard and Barb Duncan and Michael Duncan and Deborah Webster. She is survived by her grandchildren: Lena and Brent Olson, Lon and Malinda Duncan, and Cody Duncan and his fiancé, Misty. She is survived by her great-grandchildren: Madison & Mason Olson, and Lucas Duncan.
Those are the facts, but Mom (Gogi) was much more than just facts. She was Mom and Gogi to so many people. She healed hearts and families. She loved garage sales and the local gaming centers. She loved the rain and her flowers. She loved her kids, grandchildren and great- grandchildren plus all the Holidays. She loved to read and take rides all over the state. She shared and she gave without condition.
But Lorretta was not a push-over. In describing Mom, her banker and I said "feisty" simultaneously. So Mom was multifaceted and respected. And she will be missed so very, very much.

So sorry for your loss. She will be missed. Dad was just talking about her coffee. He always said that she could chase away the door to door guys with her extra stiff coffee.
