Beierling, Else
Else Beierling Else Emma Hild was born in Cleebronn, West Germany on June 19, 1923. She passed away January 27, 2015. She was the second of five children - 2 boys and 3 girls. She received her early schooling in Cleebronn. When she was 14 her family moved to Bonnigheim, West Germany and she attended household school there. During World War II, she met and fell in love with Albert Beierling. They were married on September 4, 1941. They had 2 sons - Ralph and Heinz. After the war ended Else's family immigrated to Calgary, Alberta Canada. Else and Albert worked very hard building two houses from the ground up with very little help. Else worked cleaning houses to supplement the family income. Canada winters were long and cold. Summers were short and hot so in 1964, Else, Albert and Heinz moved to Redwood City, California where they purchased a home and remodeled it. Later the family moved to Eugene and did sweat equity to puchase the home they lived in for 38 years. After Albert died, Else lived alone for 4 years before moving to Terpening Terrace where she lived for 11 wonderful years. Else's hobbies included gardening, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved to fish and go camping in their motor home. Grandchildren often accompanied them. At Terpening Terrace she loved playing bingo. She has many friends and family who will miss her. Else is survived by her children, Ralph (Christine) living in High River, Alberta and Heinz (Leigh Ann) living in Eugene, brother Manfred living in Germany, grandchildren Arlene, Christopher, Susan, Jennifer, and great grandchildren Jimmy, Sierra, Nikki, Brayden, Hayleigh, and Kendyl. At her request a private family service will be held.
