Hackett, Ora  
Ora Mae Hackett 1908 - 2015 Ora Mae Riggle Hackett, was born to Cecil R. and Lydia A. Riggle in White Lake, South Dakota., November 30, 1908 and passed away May 16, 2015. In her early life Ora was a teacher in South Dakota. She and Lewis moved to Oregon in 1940 where they raised their family on a farm south of Eugene. She worked as a cook at the Lane County Courthouse cafeteria for many years. Ora and Lewis spent several years RVing and staying in Yuma. Her later years were devoted to making quilts, lap robes and stocking hats. Up until 3 weeks before her death she was sending email to family and friends, working crosswords, making stocking hats and playing games on the computer. She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Edward Hackett (February 14, 1998), her sister Verna Riggle Shaffer and granddaughter Julie A. Wood Howell Sevier. Ora and Lewis were married November 24, 1932 in Fort Pierre, South Dakota. Ora Mae is survived by her children, Lewis Jr. (Lou), Richard (Ann), Cecile Wood (Bill) Carol Rath (Rick), 9 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 15 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. At the amazing age of 106, God finally decided it was time for her to come to her heavenly home. She will always be in our hearts. Arrangements entrusted to Lane Memorial Funeral Home. Hannon, Teresa  
Teresa Ellen Hannon 1956 - 2015 Ms. Teresa Ellen Hannon died unexpectedly in her home on May 18th, 2015 at the age of 59. Teresa is survived by her children, Mandisa Albright of Dallas, Texas and Richard Tate of Tempe, Arizona; and one sibling, Thomas Hannon. Teresa Hannon was born on May 2nd, 1956 in Portland, Oregon. Raised by parents, Doral and Richard Hannon. Her children remember her as a kind mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Teresa was accomplished at needlepoint who often sewed and knitted. She was a witty individual who loved fantasy. A ceremonial spreading of ashes will be on May 23, 2015. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Teresa's life. Heidegger, Sterling  
Sterling E. Heidegger August 24, 1929 - May 20, 2015 Sterling Heidegger, 85, was born in Portland and died in Eugene with family at his side. Sterling was an Eagle Scout who graduated from Lincoln High School in Portland, before attending Oregon State College. He worked 36 years for Pacific Northwest Bell, where he worked his way up from supply department worker to manager. Over the years, he worked in Klamath Falls, Pendleton, Salem, Medford, Portland and Eugene. Sterling met his beloved wife, Jane Bowie, in Klamath Falls and married her on Sept. 4, 1954. They together raised five children. Sterling put his managerial abilities to use in his volunteer pursuits. He chaired the board of non-profit Rainbow Village in Eugene, which offers affordable housing to those with low income. He had integral roles at Peace Presbyterian Church, helped create and was treasurer for the Eugene Scottish Festival and chaired the board of the Friendly House in Portland. Sterling leaves behind his wife, Jane; three sons, Scott Heidegger, David Heidegger and Thomas Heidegger; two daughter, Kathleen Aney and Carol Stender; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service is 2 p.m., Saturday, May 30, at Peace Presbyterian Church in Eugene.

Higgins, Albert William (Al)  
Al Higgins 1922 - 2015 Albert (Al) William Higgins was born in Eugene, November 17, 1922 to Irving and Louise and left this world on May 14, 2015. There will be a memorial service at 1:00pm Friday May 29th at Springfield Faith Center, 600 Hayden Bridge Road in Springfield followed by brief refreshments. He is survived by his children Jan Hammer, Leonard Higgins, Kathleen O'Higgins, Al Higgins, Jr., and Paul Higgins. Al's extended family includes many relatives, close friends, caregivers, and fellowship at Springfield Faith Center and Glenwood Christian Church. Al was a World War 2 veteran, honorably discharged from the 1050th Army Air Force Base Unit with commendations, the American Defense Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, AR 600-68 American Theater of Operations Service Medal. He served in Northern Solomons, Bismarck Archipelago, New Guinea, Anti-Submarine, Central Pacific, and Western Pacific.

Linda G. Hof 1955 - 2015 Beloved daughter of Peter and Florence Gallucci, survived by her brother Peter and former husband Ken, and her friends Zoe and Maggie. In large part thanks to her work with Nancy Hopps, her inner light was shining brightest at the end. A Memorial Service is planned for a later date. Huntoon, Robin  
Robin "Oscar" Andrew Huntoon 1957 - 2015 Robin "Oscar" Andrew Huntoon passed away May 13, 2015 of liver failure. He was 57. He was born July 18, 1957 in Lebanon, New Hampshire to Joseph and Nancy Huntoon. Survivors include his siblings Ralph Huntoon, Racie Escalera, Rhonda Sand, Randy Huntoon and Ryan Huntoon; his children Jacque Shaw, Janelle Shaw, and Samantha Shaw, and 5 grandchildren. There will be a celebration of life at his sister's, Racie Escalera, at 1pm Saturday, May 23, 3521 Willowbrook, Eugene.
