Our beloved Carol died on 19, October 2018. She was born in Malad, Idaho on 22, Jan 1932 to Nephi Albert Bennett and Martha Leona Jenkins. Carol's great gift was a desire to give to and serve others, and she thrived in doing so. She was a devoted wife for 48 years to Wendell Harris until he passed in 1999. The four sons they raised all achieved the rank of Eagle Scouts, served missions, graduated with advanced degrees and have families of their own blessing Carol and Wendell with 19 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.

Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which provided many opportunities for her to give and serve. She is remembered with fondness by the many people, especially youth, she touched through her warmth and leadership as a Cub Scout den mother, early morning seminary teacher, President of ward and stake Primary, Young Women's and Relief Society organizations, secretary at Thurston High School, volunteer, neighbor and friend. Carol also served missions in Chicago and Washington, D.C. Throughout her life, Carol has influenced thousands of people by her motto to 'use the light inside to outshine any affliction outside,' which she did with her unconditional love.
