Richard Barry Pendleton passed away Sept. 8 in Eugene. Born May 4, 1944 to Clyde and Lucy Clark Pendleton, he was a lifelong Eugene resident. A 1962 graduate of North Eugene High School, he joined the U. S. Army in 1964, rejoined his family's business, Pendleton Milling Company with his father and older brother.

He married the love of his life, Sheri Pendleton, in 1984.

His hobbies included photography and travel. From 1997 - 2011 he served Open Bible Churches as photographer for their bi-annual conventions across the country, a great blend of both.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, brothers David and William, all of Eugene.

He is survived by his wife, two children, Lisa Wildman, Eugene, Mattew Wildman and one grandson of Quaker Hill, CT.

A celebration of life will be held September 20 at 2 pm at Willamette Christian Center, 2500 W. 18th, Eugene. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his honor to Project Hope, in care of the church.
