I have known Stanley nearly my whole life and he was always so loving to me. Of course, he played jokes on me and they were funny to him...he was one of a kind...no one like him. He loved Westerns. He loved his wife. He loved all his extended family and they are loved and respected him. He did so much for me when I was a pre-teen and teenager...wherever he went, he would take us too...most of the time, he paid for me. I didn't eat much so I tried not to be a burden to him. He loved to be outside and he loved to make things....actually, Doris loved to make things too. I didn't get the homemaking gene and was always amazed at what they could make from scratch...curtains, wood carvings, bird houses, anything...I will miss him, but know that he was getting tired and wanted a rest..I will remember him riding a horse cart and a horse on the road to my farm and he had the happiest grin on his face...Stanley, rest for now....
