Eva P. Moses, 87, of Gratis, went home to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 23, 2012 in Miamisburg.
She was born in Bell County, KY. on June 15, 1925 to Alex and Alice (Sweat) Wilson. She had retired from Governor Harris Homestead after 19 years as a cook. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Rev. J.C. Moses of Gratis, two children, Tommy (Janice) Moses, Lake Wales, FL, Brian Moses, Corbin, KY and daughter-in-law, Kay Moses, Eaton; seven grandchildren, Ricky Moses, Susan Moses, Gene Moses, Gina Arnold, Jeremy Moses, Tiffany Moses, Dylan Moses; eight great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, three sisters, A.V. Violet, LaFollette, TN, Fannie Henegar, Cincinnati, Ruby Miller, LaFollette, TN, special brother & sister-in-law, Eugene and Freda Moses, Eaton, many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Johnny Moses, brothers, Estel Wilson, Jr. Wilson, Jesse L. Wilson, sisters, Shirley Wilson, Monnie Roach, Ruby Wilson.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 7085 Gratis-Jacksonburg Rd., Gratis, with Rev. Frankie Hunt officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, Gratis.
