Paul R. Whiteaker died Nov. 13, 2012 with his youngest daughter, Lori, by his side.
He was born May 18, 1944 to Marshall & Mary Whitaker in Springfield. He lived in Campbellstown, Ohio and Dania, Florida.
Paul was a tool and die maker by trade but having a broken back at age five, his father taught him to work and build things with his hands. There wasn't much Paul couldn't do. While married to Deborah he opened a paint and body shop, was self-taught, and was admired throughout south Florida for his excellent work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Don, sister Barbara Henry, and youngest son Paul R Whiteaker II.
He is survived by P. "Rusty" Whiteaker, Kimberly and Ron Besstes, Hamilton; Kyle and Marlena Whiteaker of Indiana; Kirby Wilson Whiteaker, Hamilton; Lori Whiteaker, West Palm Beach, Florida; brother Marshall Whiteaker II, Tennessee, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
