RICHMOND, INDIANA — Linda Holliman, 64, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014 at her residence.
Born on Jan. 14, 1950 in New Paris, daughter of James Dale & Edith (Mull) Laird. Linda was a 1968 graduate of Jefferson High School and she attended Morehead State University in Kentucky and Indiana University East. Linda retired from US Airways after 20 years as a reservation agent. She also worked as an administrative assistant at Southwest College in Texas. Linda was the most loving, caring, giving and selfless person and loved everyone she came in contact with. Loved by many, she will be dearly missed by all.
Survivors include her son, Cassidy Holliman of Dayton; granddaughter, Jessica Renee Holliman; mother, Edith Bolinger of Eaton; sister, Patti Hathaway of New Paris; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Donna Laird of Eaton, and John and Joanna Woltja of Kettering; Uncle Norman & Aunt Carolyn Mull of New Paris; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thanks to her cousin, Kathie McMaster of Phoenix, Arizona for all her love and care.
Friends and family meal was served on Friday, Feb. 21, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 301 East Main Street, New Paris, and a Celebration of Life Service followed at the church with Pastor Jeff Ginter officiating.
