Charles R. Craig, 83, of Camden, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012 at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Born on Feb. 23, 1929 in Camden he was the son of the late Arthur P. & Mable (Bailey) Craig. Charles was a 1947 Camden High School graduate and retired in 1991 from Champion Corp. in Hamilton, after 41 years of service. He attended the Hamilton West Baptist Church and was a former member of the Camden Lions Club. Preceded in death by a daughter: Linda Sue Craig in 1950 and brother: Leroy Craig in 2008.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years: Christeen (Horn) Craig; son & daughter-in-law: Robert W. & Diana Craig of Union; daughter: Tina C. Craig Ruble of Camden; grandchildren: Amy M. & Brian Clingner; Scott A. & Beth Craig; Charles Alex B. Ruble and Timothy P. Ruble; seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Thursday, Dec. 20, at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 North Main Street, Camden, with Rev. David Williams officiating. Interment was in Fairmount Cemetery, Camden.
