James L. Hensley, 74, of Boston, Indiana, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
Born on Dec. 4, 1938 in Freemont, son of the late Claude & Dorthea (Hawk) Hensley, James was a self-employed photographer for many years. He was also one of the founding members of the Dayton Road Knights and was a member of various street rod clubs in Dayton.
He was preceded in death by son, Richard Hensley; and sister, Sally Roberts.
He is survived by sons, Ronald Alan (Terilyn) Hensley of Boston, Indiana and Randall James Hensley of Fairborn; grandchildren, Brittany Rose Russell, Riki Dee Hensley, Ronny James Hensley and Frankilyn Amour Hensley; great-granddaughter, Né Avion Rose Russell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, Ohio. Interment will be held in Mount Zion Cemetery in Beavercreek, Ohio at the convenience of the family at a later date. Family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
