ORLAN H. MOORE

EATON — Orlan H. "Squeak" Moore, 87, of Eaton, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton.

He was born Feb. 1, 1927 in Bybee, Kentucky to the late Ray G. and Carrie Moore. In his earlier years, Squeak was a Preble County dairy farmer, and later retired as a machinist from Parker-Hannifin Corporation of Eaton. He attended the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Weir Moore; second wife Joyce Hartshorn Moore; daughter Marilyn Tinstman; brothers Leland and Leon Moore; son-in-law Steve Studebaker; and stepson David Ward.

He is survived by his daughters Karen Studebaker of West Alexandria, Judy (Wayne) Minniear of Fountain City, Indiana, Linda (Pete) Ferriell of Eaton, and Lora (Jim) McCargish of Eaton; son-in-law Dave Tinstman of Eaton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepdaughter Brenda (Greg) Watkins of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton, with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
