Phillip G. Price, 53, of West Alexandria, died at his residence.
Phillip was born on Nov. 25, 1958 in Dayton, and was the son of the late Walter and Virginia (Wenrick) Price. He was a 1977 graduate of Patterson Co-Op in Dayton and was an EMT with Eaton Medical Transport. Phillip was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and had served with the Police Departments in Phillipsburg, and the University of Dayton. He was a special deputy with the Preble County Sheriff's Office and had served on the Harrison Township Fire Department in Dayton. He was a member of the Preble County Community Response Team; The Civil Air Patrol Unit 282 in New Lebanon, where he was a Major; The Box 21 Rescue Squad in Dayton and the Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton. Phillip loved to travel and spend time with friends.
Phillip is survived by his dear friends Terri Davis and her daughters Ashley & Alexis Bergin of Lewisburg; Chris Vecchi of Springboro, and numerous friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Full Gospel Temple, 4745 U.S. 127 N., Eaton, with Chaplain Jerry Meddock officiating. A gathering will be held following the service in the social building behind the church.
