William "Bill" Nelson Clemons of Portland, Indiana passed away April 15, 2013.

Bill was born April 29, 1935 in Falmouth, Kentucky and raised by his loving parents Neal and Anna Jacobs. Bill enlisted in the Army when he was 17 years old and was sent to Korea as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. After serving in the Korean War, Bill became a fireman for the Pennsylvania railroad and retired as a passenger engineer in 1969 after 15 years of service. He was the owner of Tires, Inc. located throughout Ohio and Indiana from 1995 to 2009. Bill loved to go hunting and fishing, restoring old cars and trucks and collecting coins.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Clemons, four children from his marriage to Ila Jones: Deborah Clemons of Greensfork, Indiana; Sheila Kurtnick of Eaton; Valerie Clemons of Westerville; Bill Clemons of Erlanger, Kentucky; two step-children: Carla Weiser and Adam Follrod; three grandchildren: Jacob "Jake" Powers, Anna Caroline Wright, Tristan Clemons; and two great-grandchildren, Sierra Payne and Chloe James.

Funeral services were at Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky on Friday April 19, with burial at Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, Kentucky.
