ANNA E. HUFFMAN

CAMDEN — Anna E. Huffman, 96, of Camden, died on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014 at Woodland Country Manor in Somerville.

Born on Sept. 10, 1917 in Surgoinsville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Dane Harold & Lula Mae (Fox) Richards. Anna was a charter member of the Higher Heights Church of God in Camden and was a member of the Red Hats. She retired in 1979 from McCullough Hyde Hospital in Oxford after 13 years of service.

Her husband Myron E. Huffman died in 1992; daughter: Mary E. Judy in 2003; granddaughters: Colleen "Susie" Houk in 2009 and Gina L. Houk in 1961; sister: Willie Sheley; brothers: Harmon Richards, Leonard Richards and Ray V. Richards.

Survivors include he sons: Myron Duane Huffman of Carollton, Kentucky and George Hector (Midge) Huffman of Hardeville, South Carolina; granddaughter: Joanna L. (Eugene, Jr.) Cupp of Camden; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were scheduled for Monday, Jan. 27, at Higher Heights Church of God, Camden, with Rev. Marvin D. Hocker officiating. Interment was in Fairmount Cemetery in Camden.
