JAMES E. HOWARD
WEST ALEXANDRIA — James E. Howard, 60, of West Alexandria, passed away on Saturday night, March 1, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton.
Jim was a son of the late Grant & Mary (Moles) Howard. He served with the US Army from 1970-1972 and retired after 30 years with the Delphi Division of General Motors in Kettering.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death on June 2, 2005 by his beloved wife Fran A. (Noe) Howard.
He is survived by daughter Stephanie Barnes of Tennessee; sons Dexter Dykes of North Carolina and Darren Dykes of New Mexico; grandchildren Gavin, Lexie, Aaron and Lana: brother Kevin G. Howard of West Alexandria; niece Melissa (Rob) Green of West Alexandria; great-nephews Bobby and Bradley Green and very special friend Patricia Dunwoodie of Eaton.
Friends may call on the family from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 U.S. 35, West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Preble Memory Gardens.
