Barbara Jane Dillman peacefully passed away March 6, 2013 in Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington from a stroke.
Barbara was born on Nov. 5, 1942 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Theodore and Martha (Bowman) Tolley and daughter-in-law of Jerry and Shirley Dillman.
Barbara was a true farm wife, tending her garden, canning, cooking, baking and caring for her husband and three children. She was prolific in crocheting. She had an eye for beauty in the morning sky, evening sunsets, the changing of the seasons, flowers, birds, trees and all the colors of God's creation. She loved the plants, flowers and birds in her yard; rodeys and iris were her favorites. She always enjoyed seeing the bears, eagles, cougars and elk coming through her front yard.
Barbara is survived by a large, loving family including her husband of 53 years, Larry Dillman of Sequim, WA; children Tina and husband Paul Brehm of New Paris, Betsy of Port Angeles, WA; grandchildren, Gary Robinson of Richmond, IN; step-mother Jean and husband Joe Allison; brothers Earl and wife Sharon of Sequim, WA, Skipper and wife Jane of California, Paul of Ohio, Darrell and wife Judy of Ohio; sisters Marilyn and husband Darrell of Tennessee and Margie Ridgeway of Virginia; many loving nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Barbara and husband Walter Morgan; brother-in-law David and wife Ellen Dillman.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Dillman (March 20, 2012), brothers Carl and Robert and sisters Marjorie and Virginia.
Barbara reached the top of the mountain to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, when Jesus took her hand and led her home to heaven. She was loved dearly and will be truly missed.
