CAMDEN Edward Delane Stevenson Sr., 65, of Camden, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013.
He was born Aug. 14, 1948, in Hamilton, to the late Wallace Jackson and Clara (Root) Stevenson. Ed was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War; was a member of the V.F.W. #1577, Camden; was a member of the American Legion Post #0377 Camden; was a member of the Gratis Eagles Lodge #4289; and was an avid toy tractor collector, card player, golfer and NASCAR fan. He was a member and former youth minister of the Lewisburg Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Homer Stevenson and Carl "Butch" Stevenson; and mother-in-law and father-in-law James and Mary Cail.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Margie Stevenson of Camden; daughter Bonita (Bert) Reyna of Eaton; son Jack (Lori) Stevenson of Brookville; grandchildren Zoie Olt, Lane Stevenson, Anthony Reyna, Bonnie Ann Stevenson and Christian Reyna; sisters Mary Lee, Jeannette and Alice; sisters-in-law Mary, Barb and Bonnie; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and special canine and furry companions Macy and Liz Bob.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 7, at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, with Pastor Dane Driver officiating. Burial was in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton.
