Natalie C. Clark, 90, of Naugatuck, passed away on July 11, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1935 in Jacksonville, FL, to the late Norman Thayer and Nan Genta.
A devoted member of the United Methodist Church, Natalie was a beloved Sunday school teacher whose warmth and faith touched generations of children and families in the community.
Natalie moved to Naugatuck in 1954, where she built a life centered around care, compassion, and service. She worked for many years as a dedicated home health aide with various local agencies, offering comfort and support to those in need. Natalie also worked at Uniroyal and eventually retired from Lewis Engineering.
She also brought joy and laughter to many as the Queen Mother of the Naugatuck Red Hatters, a role she embraced with spirit and elegance.
Natalie's legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering commitment to her faith and community
She leaves behind her sons, Norman A. Clark and Gary A. Clark; daughters, Pamela J. Evancha (David), Diane M. Reed (Jim), and Jennifer L. Heston (Mike); grandchildren, Christopher Larson, Paul Norton, Pammie Betts, Michelle Aranda, Christian Munko, Jaclynn Clark, Matthew Reed, Amanda Tribble, and Cody Tribble; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and 26 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Nan Genta; adopted father "daddy", Anthony Genta; father, Norman Thayer; son, Kenneth H. Clark Jr.; former husband and friend, Kenneth H. Clark Sr.; brother, Norman S. Thayer Jr.; and sister, Nancy Dolores Griggs.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 208 Meadow St., Naugatuck, CT 06770.
