Harold R. "Mike" Schuster, 81, of Loveland passed away on February 10, 2013. Harold was born on February 17, 1931 in New York, New York to Edwin William and Cathryn Helene (Lynch) Schuster. Harold married Leoda Jane Schweiger in 1954 in Quantico, VA. Harold and Leoda moved to Loveland in 1971, but called several places their home over the years. Harold was a highly decorated career Marine. After retirement he worked as a Larimer County Deputy Sheriff and was the first ever Boat Ranger at Horsetooth Reservoir. Harold was a member of the Elk's, the V.F.W. and the Marine Corps Auxillary. He loved the water and boating and loved to travel. Harold was very devoted to his country, the Marine Corps and his family. Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Leoda; and brother Edwin Schuster, Jr. He is survived by his son Richard (Nancy) Schuster of Loveland; daughters Holly (Michael) Fischer of Princeville, HI and Cathryn (Douglas) Sanders of Fort Collins; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, February 18th at the Allnutt Reception Center. Inurnment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Associated Veterans of Loveland in care of Allnutt Funeral Service.
