Betty A Baty of Loveland, Colorado passed away on March 30, 2013. She was born October 9, 1923 in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Broomfield, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard Dale Baty, her parents, and three siblings. Betty is survived by her daughter Patricia Grisham (Terry), her son Edward Baty, grandaughters whom she raised Tracy Morgan (Brad), Kelly Wallace (Chuck) and 5 other grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Betty was a welder on war ships during World War II and a member of the Amalgamated Meat Packers Association, she was also a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Association. She was a Navy wife of many years, homemaker and mom raising two children and two grandchildren. In later years she volunteered at the McKee Medical Day Care Center, where she was known as Grandma Betty, caring for many of the communities children. She was also a member of the Loveland Valentine Stampers for 18 years. She was well loved by her children, grandchildren and friends and will be dearly missed. Services will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO April 19th at 11:00 am. There will be a gathering at her home at 2:30 following the service.
