Charlotte Thomas

Charlotte C. Thomas, 77, of Loveland, passed away September 24, 2011 at her home. She was born March 1, 1934 to Albert and Lavon (Robb) Hoover in Sidney, Nebraska. The family moved to Cheyenne, WY in 1939 where Charlotte graduated high school in 1952. She began her career as a legal secretary with the Attorney General of the State of Wyoming and was married to John Thomas in Cheyenne. They moved to Southern California in the mid 1960's. There she worked as a legal secretary for 35 years, with large law firms. She moved to Loveland in 1994. Charlotte enjoyed travel and had been to Israel and the Middle East several times. She was a member of the Faith Evangelical Church where she was very active. She is survived by sisters Frances Kinnison of Cheyenne and Ellen McLees of Loveland, two sisters-in-law, Penny Jo Hoover of Greeley and Sharon Hoover of Ft Collins and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Hershel Hoover & Jack Hoover, brother-in-law E. A. Kinnison and three nephews. A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Loveland Vineyard Community Church, 900 Josephine Court with burial in Beth-El Cemetery, Cheyenne at 2:30.
