Elizabeth Schwarz

Elizabeth Schwarz, 92, of Loveland went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 16, 2013. She was born in Clay County, Nebraska on Oct. 21, 1920. She married Hugo Schwarz on March 21, 1939. They moved to Loveland in 1943, then to Ft. Collins in 1955 where they lived until 1974. She resided in Loveland for the past 39 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of the Loveland Protestant Reformed Church. She had a great love for the Lord, which was reflected in her walk of life, and in the godly example she set for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Marilyn DeVries and husband Tom of Walker, Michigan and Phyllis Brands and husband Robert of Loveland, 14 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Viegut Funeral Home Sunday, May 19, from 2:00-4:00pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 20, at 10:00am at the Loveland Protestant Reformed Church, 707 E. 57th Street with Pastor Steven Key officiating. Interment will be at Loveland Burial Park.
