Melanie Clow

Melanie Dee Clow, 64 of Loveland, passed away June 26, 2013 in Loveland, following a long battle with breast cancer. Melanie was born September 28, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee, the youngest child of Myron Ellis Gates and Shirley Katherine Plicque. She attended and graduated from Stratford High School in Nashville, class of 1966, where she was voted "most courteous". Later, Melanie studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse and spent over 30 years caring for others. Melanie met and later married Robert Ray Clow, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL in 1974. They have made their home in Loveland since 1995. Melanie was a compassionate woman and an amazing artist who always took the time to see beauty in all things. She loved animals and gardening, but most of all caring for others. Melanie is survived by her husband Bob; children Robert, Christina and Adam; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1445 W 28th St, Loveland, Co. Memorial donations may be made to the Melanie Clow Memorial Fund in care of Wells Fargo Bank.
