Muriel Lindsay

Muriel Kuhn Lindsay, 82, died on February 18, 2013 at Good Samaritan Village in Loveland, Colorado. She was born on December 7, 1930 in Tipton, Iowa. She attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri and received a B.A. in Library Science from University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She worked at corporate, school and public libraries in New Jersey, New York and Missouri. At Good Samaritan Village, she was responsible for their resident library. She moved to Good Samaritan Village in December, 1997 with her husband James E. Lindsay (deceased). She sang in the choir at 1st Presbyterian Church of Berthoud and volunteered in many capacities at Good Samaritan Village. She belonged to P.E.O. Chapter DR in Loveland. Muriel is survived by daughter, Sarah Lindsay (Walter M.) Mathias of West Henrietta, NY and son, Marc William Lindsay of Aurora, Illinois. Also granddaughters Brenda Lindsay Mathias of Philadelphia, PA and Julie Elizabeth Mathias of Rochester, NY. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30pm on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Good Samaritan's Spiritual Life Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to 1st Presbyterian Church of Berthoud or Habitat for Humanity in care of Resthaven Funeral Home, 8426 S Hwy 287, Fort Collins, CO 80525.
