Evan Godwin

1990 - 2016

Godwin, Evan Raymond 25, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, was taken from his family and friends much too soon and entered into his eternal rest on April 21, 2016. Evan was an amazing young man whose kind and giving spirit was quick to care and knew no stranger. Evan was born August 1, 1990, to Kurt E. and Kelly I. Godwin. He is survived by his parents, brother Levi (Adrienne) Godwin, sister Heather (Jedediah) Jones, nephews Logan Jones and Patrick Godwin, nieces Alice Godwin and Piper Jones and many other family members. Evan was born and raised in Loveland, Colorado, graduated from Loveland High School in 2009, and was a veteran of the US Army. He and his family moved from Colorado to Valrico, FL in the summer of 2014, and he began attending Hillsborough Community College in January. Evan's life was celebrated by family and friends on Saturday, April 30 at his home in Valrico. There will be services in his honor at Sarasota National Cemetery at a later date. His Colorado family and friends will celebrate his life Saturday, May 7 in Walden, Colorado. A memorial fund has been established—Wells Fargo Bank, Attention: Penny D.
