Jody Lynn Simpson of Loveland, CO went with God on December 24, 2013 at the age of 65. She was born in Scottsbluff, NE on August 6, 1948 to Harold and Ruth Kaufman. She is a graduate of Mitchell High School and married her loving husband, David Simpson on January 17, 2001. Jody had a love for life and a passion for people. She never knew a stranger and cared deeply and unconditionally for everyone in her life. She enjoyed her many get togethers with family and friends, throwing social events for any occasion was just one of her many traits. She loved her sunset boat rides, and most of all she loved being Nana and playing with her grandchildren. Jody worked for many years with Teledyne WaterPik and retired in 2001. Jody was preceded in death by her father, Harold Kaufman in 2011. She is survived by her husband, David Simpson, of Loveland. Her son, Jason North of Loveland and daughter Michele (Paul) Cox of Terrell, TX as well as grandchildren, Wyatt and Shelby Cox. Her mother, Ruth Kaufman of Gering, NE. Sisters, Vicki (Jeff ) Bott of Scottsbluff, NE, Janelle Schneider of Loveland, Teri (Rusty) Mueller of Loveland, and two sister-in-laws Cindy (Drew) Micheletti of Anaconda, MT and Karen (Bob) Simpson of Helen, MT and several nieces and nephews and extended family. Services will be held Monday December 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Life Springs Church in Loveland, CO. Memorials can be made to Pathways Hospice. Memorial Services will also be held in Nebraska, details pending. Please contact family. HOW 'BOUT THEM BRONCOS.........
