He earned his BA with honors from the University of Michigan in 1975 and his MBA with honors from the University of Arizona in 1983. Bob's work ethic was established alongside his father in their family business, Diamond R Construction, starting at age twelve. Bob worked in the technology industry for twenty-nine years, beginning at Hewlett Packard, Colorado Springs, in 1984, continuing with Cray Computer Corporation, and then re-joining HP in Loveland in 1989. He was a Business Process Analyst with Agilent Technologies at the time of his death. He married his best friend and wife of 40 years, Theresa Keves, on August 18, 1972, in St. Clair, Michigan. He was the most loving and supportive father to his two beautiful children, Elizabeth Lozen and Robert R. Lozen, III, and to his dear son-in-law Ruphael Gebre-Mariam. He was also beloved "Poppy" to his most cherished granddaughter Helen and to his second grandchild arriving this May. Bob enjoyed a diverse interest in travel, literature, music, art, pottery, 4-wheeling, and varied athletic pursuits. He thoroughly enjoyed his recent two-week trip to Ethiopia in support of the non-profit PRIDE, which provides health and educational assistance to the highlands of Ethiopia. Bob was diligent about his health and exercised daily by swimming, running, or by taking four-mile walks with his dachshund best friends, Weiner Dog and Suzie Q. In addition to his immediate family, surviving Bob are his mother Alice; sisters Jill Lozen Boaz and Michelle (Kevin) Varner; nieces and nephews Ashley (Paul), Taylor, Bobby J and Lacey (Kyle); as well as his treasured extended family and friends.
