Rose Kite Obituary
Rose Marie Kite, 85, of Loveland passed away February 19, 2014 at The Joneses House in Loveland, Colorado. She was born July 7, 1928, in Berthoud to Wilbur and Marie Fahrenbruck Buehler. She attended Berthoud schools and graduated from Berthoud High School. She married Clarence J. Kite (Bud) on October 31, 1949. They celebrated 38 years of marriage before his death on June 14, 1988. Rose and Bud lived throughout the United States while Bud was in excavation construction. They lived in over 30 locations as they were raising their family and had great friends that moved from job-site to job-site with them. These friendships continued throughout their lifetime. They retired in Loveland and were blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends for the last 30 years. Rose was able to remain in her home, and moved to the Joneses House less than a year ago. Rose and Bud were very active and loved to golf and bowl. Rose was in a bowling league in Greeley for 30 years. In her later years, she attended the Milliken Senior Center and enjoyed the friendships she made there. Her family was most important to her and she cherished family get-togethers, especially Sunday dinners. She was her grandchildren's biggest supporter and attended all their activities. Rose's family would like to thank the staff at The Joneses House and Halcyon Hospice for their wonderful care and support. She is survived by daughters Deborah (Robert) Jorgensen of Cheyenne, WY; and Jeanie (Kevin) Coleman of Johnstown; son Bradley (Sherry) Kite of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren Crystal Becker; Brooke (Seth) Sparks; Matthew (Kali) Jorgensen; Kris (Missi) Jorgensen; Reggie (Monica) Coleman; Rylee (Liz) Coleman; Ressie Coleman; Shelby Smalley-Rushing; and Brandi Laaksonen; great-grandchildren Cierra and Cheyenna Becker; Jacquelyn, Gage and Kolby Sparks; Miles and Nolan Jorgensen; Lance and Dakota Jorgensen; Hayden, Kopus, and Riane Coleman; Malaya and Treyson Coleman; Taylor and Kaitlyn Rushing; Bradlee Brinkman, Dalton Denhem, and Kylie Becker.
