Beverly Singleton Obituary
Beverly Rogene Singleton, aged 80, died peacefully and entered into everlasting life on June 21, 2014, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, CO, due to complications arising from a sudden and unexpected blood clot. Bev, daughter of Archie and Ferne Barnard, was born on October 10, 1933, in Dixon, IL. Her family moved to California, and she later graduated from James A. Garfield High School, Los Angeles, CA. In 1954, Bev married the love of her life, F. Stanley Singleton Jr., and they later settled in Newbury Park, CA. Stan worked for Sears, Santa Monica, CA, and then for Century 21, Westlake, CA. Bev worked for Control Products, Westlake, CA, and then for Pleasant Hawaiian Holidays, Westlake, CA. Bev was a lifelong Christian and a former member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Newbury Park, CA, and a recent member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, Loveland, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Stan Singleton; her brothers, Ronald and Kenneth Barnard; and her parents. Bev is survived by her four children, Craig A. Singleton (married to Peggy) of Loveland, CO, Ronald C. Singleton (married to Helen) of Loveland, CO, Cheri A. Beam (married to Brian) of Pacifica, CA, Timothy P. Singleton (married to Hilary) of Greenfield, WI; her ten grandchildren, Robyn Anastos, Cory Singleton, Trenton Morris, Caitlin Singleton, Chelsea Morris, Kelly Singleton, Justin Singleton, Lucas Singleton, Nicholas Singleton, Grace Singleton; her four great grandchildren, Jackson Singleton, Ethan Anastos, Madyson Anastos, Blake Singleton; her sister, Dolores Sanquist of Hesperia, CA, and Delores' husband Donald; and by a number of other relatives and close friends. Bev loved spending time with her family, and she thoroughly enjoyed traveling. For all who knew and loved her, you are invited to a Funeral Service at King of Glory Lutheran Church, Loveland, CO, on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11am. A graveside committal service will also be held for all those who knew and loved her at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Camarillo, CA, on Monday, June 30 at 1pm, visitation will be held from 12-1pm. Flowers for the funeral service can be sent to King of Glory Lutheran Church (2919 Wilson Ave., Loveland, CO 80538). Flowers for the graveside committal service can be sent to Conejo Mountain Memorial Park & Funeral Home (2052 Howard Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012).
