Burl Kimble Obituary
Wilbert Lee "Burl" Kimble passed away July 5, 2014 at Berthoud Living Center. He was 83 years old. Burl was born on February 4, 1931 to Roma and Juanita (Tisher) Kimble in Springfield, Missouri. Burl served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he was stationed at the Panama Canal as a member of the Military Police. He married Donavay "Doni" Hoke on December 6, 1953 in Greeley, CO. Burl worked in commercial construction across the United States where he was a drywall mechanic and steel framer by trade until retiring in 2007. Burl was a member of the Assembly of God church. He enjoyed driving all over the country, wood working and remodeling houses. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters, and his grandson Austin Kimble. Burl is survived by his wife Doni Kimble of Longmont, CO, his sons Mark (Carol) Kimble of Loveland, CO and Marlow "Low" (Debbie) Kimble of Frederick, CO, his daughter Marcy (Terry) Ardourel of Cheyenne, WY, his grandchildren David (Suzanne), Stephen, and John Mark, and his sister Norma (Charles) Eigsti. A graveside service will be held at 9:15 AM Friday, July 11, 2014 at Fort Logan National Cemetery; meet at staging area C. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
