Harold "Duane" Hutchinson Obituary
Duane Hutchinson left this earth on July 30, 2014. He was born February 17, 1941 in Sacramento, California, to Beth and Harold Hutchinson. Duane graduated from Grant Union High School in Sacramento and joined the Army National Guard. Duane served his community as a beloved caregiver. Duane moved to Fort Collins to care for his mother and live close to his family. Duane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Fort Collins Stake - F. He loved Jesus and the Church. He taught Sunday lessons to the High Priests to help them understand doctrines of work and had served as the secretary to the High Priests. Duane was also a Home Teacher. Duane, most of all, loved his family, especially the children. He is preceded in death by his parents Beth and Harold Hutchinson, and brother-in-law Bruce Cason. He is survived by his sister, Harlene Cason; his niece Melody Sullivan and son Zach; his nephew Bruce (Julie) Cason and children, Tyler, Jason (Darcel) Button and children Lily and James; his Niece Jill (Greg) Gibb and children, Maggie, Ally, Zoey; and niece Michelle (Mitchell) Rogers and daughter Lyla. Celebration of life will take place at 10:30am on August 2, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Fort Collins Colorado, 600 E Swallow Rd, Fort Collins, CO 80525, with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30am and a reception will follow the service.
