Nicholas Cassavetes Obituary
Nicholas Colton Cassavetes 56, of Nunn, Colorado, dies on September 9th of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident outside of Greely. At the time of his death, he was surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his son, David Gilbert. Born in New York City on June 19, 1956, the son of Louise Weldon Flocker and Nicholas J Cassavetes, Jr. Nick was raised in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he studied at Fairfield County Day School and graduated from Roger Ludlow High School. He went on to study at Franklin College Switzerland, the University of Miami and Colorado State University. Moving to Colorado in the 1980's, he was the owner of Nick's Auto and Towing Service in Fort Collins. A long standing member and former Vice President of the Northern Colorado Chapter of the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club, Nick was a devoted participant in club activities and a revered friend to his fellow members. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Zoe's, 711 Tenth Street, Greeley, Colorado. All friends are invited to attend. A wake will follow at the Northern Colorado Sons of Silence Club House, 2002 First Avenue, Greeley, Colorado.
