Robert Paul Obituary
Robert (Bob) Paul was born March 1, 1935 to Jeff Paul and Virginia (Blasing) Paul in Altadena, CA. They settled in Encinitas, CA and ran Paul's Pecans on the old hiway for many years. Bob graduated from San Diegito H.S. in 1952 and joined the Air Force in 1953 serving in the Korean War. Bob was an avid fly fisherman and owned and operated Bob's Fly Shop in Loveland. Due to progressing post-polio disease Bob and his family had to make the decision to leave his beloved Colorado and move closer to family in Boise, Idaho in 2010. Bob leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law Guy and Debra Paul in Meridian, ID and a daughter, Leslie Carpenter in Tacoma, WA as well as 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Bob had a wonderful life despite being paralyzed. Through Scouting and owning Bob's he has met some wonderful people that have enriched his life. If you feel compelled to give, Bob would want you to give your time to a young person and teach them how to fish (and hopefully, release!)
