AUSTIN, TX
Eleanor Mary Santee (Bertini) passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, in Austin. Visitation will be 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, September 15, 2017, at Starbuck Funeral Home, 201 Edwards in Merkel. Graveside services will be 10:00AM Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Rose Hill Cemetery in Merkel
Mary was born in Freeport, Ohio on December 29, 1931. She was the fifth child born to Rudolph Mark and Esther Ann Eve Bertini. She wed Thomas Daniel Santee on November 14, 1950, in Golden, Colorado. They were married until he preceded her in death on January 6, 1997. Mary, as she was known, was mother to seven children who survive her: Audrey Santee, Rebecca Addy, Renee McClure, Suzette Taylor, Tomie Santee, Dan Santee and Stephen Santee. She is grandmother to nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
