Judah Blaine Reese, 44, passed away on August 26, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South with burial following in Rose Hill Cemetery, Merkel, TX. Visitation will be Friday evening, September 1, 2017, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Elliott-Hamil Funeral home, 5701 Hwy 277 South.
Judah was born on August 21, 1973, to Bryan and Debbie Row. He attended school at Merkel and Wylie High schools. He also attended Hardin Simmons University, where he completed a Paralegal Certificate course. Judah was employed by Blattner Energy.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, J.W. Isenburg.
Judah is survived by his parents; sisters, Jade and Jordan Row; maternal grandmother, Cora Isenburg; and paternal grandmother, Mary Row.

My husband and I just heard the news. We can't believe it; he was just here in July.
We were so blessed to have known Judah, even if only for a short time. He rented a house from us in Sandia Park, New Mexico, in the Sandia mountains. I remember how much he loved the mountains and the pine trees, and he'd tell me, Never sell this place! I also remember how much he loved his Harley Davidson motorcycle. I gave him a book about New Mexico so he could discover all the state's beauty while he was here, and every weekend, he'd take off and explore different areas of New Mexico. But besides all that, he was the most honest gentlemen you could ever meet. Being from Texas myself, I could tell his mother raised him right.

I met Judah in BROWNFIELD,TEXAS he rented a house from me. I was blessed to have known Judah, even if only for a short while. He was one of the most humble men I had ever met. He was here in SC working and he lived on the property I managed. He would tell me "this is what you need to get, a Jeep like this", while he was parked next to my little Jeep.
And although he loved that jeep, his bike was his pride and joy. I learned that in the little time he was here. We stood on his balcony the day he was supposed to move in and he told me, "Lynn, I really like it here. No matter where I go I'm surrounded by trees and churches. I like that". Judah, your crooked smile, calm demeanor and that voice will forever be tattooed in my memory. To work so hard to get where you were and then this happen, must mean God approved and was ready to bring you home. Prayers to you Jade and the family. He was One Of A Kind!
