DANVILLE– Eileen D. (Stevenson) Andrews, age 103, of Danville, Ill., formerly of West Lebanon, Ind. died at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at her residence.

Eileen was born on Jan. 18, 1909, in Attica, Ind. She was the daughter of Herman and Blanche (Larrabee) Stevenson. She was a 1926 graduate of Attica High School and was a Warren County resident most of her life.
She married William W. Andrews on Dec. 24, 1935, in Greenfield, Ind. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2001.
Eileen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville, Ill. She was a volunteer for many years at Lakeview Hospital. She enjoyed art painting and her vegetable garden. She was a great cook. Her church was first and foremost in her life.
Surviving are, three children, Elaine Alsup (husband: James) of San Diego, Calif., Donald W. Andrews (wife: Diane) of West Lebanon, Ind., and William G. Andrews (wife: Deborah) of Carmel, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Rodney Andrews, Robin Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Andrew Alsup, Rebecca Lindblade, Blake Andrews, Jennifer Andrews, Isaac Andrews, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Eileen was preceded in death by two brothers, Wendell and Dale Stevenson, one sister, Lorena Hartz, and a grandson, Randy Andrews.
Visitation were at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Monday, Jan. 23 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. EST. Services were at First Baptist Church, Danville, Ill. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. CST with grandson, Pastor Rod Andrews officiating. Interment was at West Lebanon Cemetery in West Lebanon, Ind.
